Honda Civic Type R FL5 Fire Extinguisher Bracket

Keep a fire extinguisher within arm's reach in your Honda Civic Type R FL5 with this vehicle-specific fire extinguisher bracket by Kap Industries. It bolts straight into the factory seat mounts, so there's no drilling, no cutting and no permanent changes to your Type R. It's the essential safety upgrade for track days, motorkhana and everyday peace of mind.

Why fit a fire extinguisher mount to your FL5?

• Made for the FL5: designed in CAD around the FL5 floor and seat-rail layout for a factory-like fit
• No-drill, bolt-in install: fits in about 5 minutes using the existing seat bolts
• Tough and lightweight: laser-cut 3 mm Australian steel with a durable black powder coat
• Track-day ready: many Australian track and club events require an extinguisher, and this keeps it secured and easy to grab
• Fits any 1 kg metal-caged extinguisher: or add one with the options above

Fitment and install notes

• Vehicle: Honda Civic Type R FL5 (2022 on)
• Mounting position: passenger side only, because the driver's side can interfere with seat movement
• May restrict full seat travel, so adjust the seat carefully after installation
• Same install procedure as the FK8. Watch the video below

Extinguisher options

Choose the bracket on its own, or bundle it with a 1 kg AS/NZS 1841.5-certified dry powder extinguisher: hose, single latch or twin latch. Extinguishers ship separately from the bracket.
